“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
Lewis Carroll

Dreaming for Christmas | Holiday series 01

Hello my dear readers ..

Today I have a simple card for my holiday series and this is my first one!
I'll try to make several Holiday things for this year and hopefully I can keep my promise :)
and here is my card ..

A short story behind the scene .... One little girl have a dream ...

I found a beautiful quote that inspired me;

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.

~Bill Morgan, Jr.

So, I design this card with a little dreaming scene ...

The pine is my own hand painting, I use Winsor and Newton  watercolor for the pines and the background
with this color list : trunk (burnt umber, payne's grey) , pine nedles (hooker's green, sap green, payne's grey) , sky (french ultra marine, celulean blue, emerald)

Supplies :
Image - Magnolia stamp : Tilda with her blanket | Sentiment - Avery Elle
Sequins - Pretty Pink Posh mix sparkling clear  | Canson illustration paper | WnN watercolor pan

Thank you so much for reading, hope you will inspire and see you again!

Autumn Blessings | water coloring with multi mediums

Hi everyone!

It is good to see you back again :)
as the colors of autumn still up around, so today's post also still about the autumn blessings ..

I am thinking about my stock of crafting stuff, and I feel sorry if they are almost forgotten sometimes but I encourages my self that I have to use them, they are can mix and matched with the new release.

Look at this cute little Tilda hugging the koala, isn't she is super cute ??
How come I can let her just dusty on my drawer, no .. she deserved to use.

I took a piece of watercolor paper, doing some loose water coloring then using a die cut to cut some leaves and pumpkins
For the image, I am not so fancy when I am coloring her just  a simple coloring way using several kind of medium that can be use in water coloring.
